2012 Nissan Rogue Features Refreshed Exterior Styling, Refined Interior and Enhanced Technology Features

 Nissan's Versatile Compact SUV Once Again Puts the "Fun" in Functionality

After being named the 2008 AJAC Car-of-the-Year in the SUV/CUV Under $35,000 category, the Nissan Rogue crossover SUV enters the 2012 model year with a new refreshed exterior appearance, refined interior, added technology and convenience features and a new model available all of which designed to provide the high-value, high-fun attitude that has made Rogue one of the most popular compact crossover SUVs in class since its introduction five years ago.


"There are many ways to look at 'value' in a vehicle these days and the new Nissan Rogue delivers by every measure affordability, fuel efficiency, quality and versatility," said Judy Wheeler, Director, Marketing, Nissan Canada Inc. "For 2012, Rogue was updated with the same themes in mind when it was named aggressive styling, functionality and fun-to drive."

For 2012, Rogue will be available in three models. The Rogue S, Rogue SV, and the new Rogue SL, which is available in AWD only (S and SV are available in FWD and AWD).

Each 2012 Rogue comes with the new standard sport mode switch, a standard 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine, Nissan's advanced Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS) and 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). Rogue also offers a long list of standard safety features including front seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags and roof-mounted curtain supplemental air bags.
